1972 Mud Bug Vs 1988 T-Bird turbo coupe
Going on the onramp after Hooters monday night.
Both in first coming around the corner. We both punch it and the mud bug takes the lead with the 2110cc of aircooled fury, the extra bore and stroke providing instant spine twisting torque. Engine still cold I'm short shifting at 4,000rpm. But it would not have mattered little, the bug kept pulling like frieght train. Leaving me in its dust, screaming at 6,000RPMs. Numbing both my ears and my soul.
When you race just for the respect, sometimes you lose it....

Bug= 1800lbs with 130hp
Bird= 3600 lbs with 190hp
